EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT NJ CAKE SMASH PHOTOGRAPHY SESSIONS
Baby’s first year… there is no other time in your life that will go by that fast. The first birthday is when your little baby starts turning into a toddler. It will feel like yesterday that he or she was just a tiny newborn. Booking a cake smash photography shoot is a fun way to celebrate your child’s turning the big O-N-E! After newborns, this is by far the most popular session to book! It is such a unique and joyful way to capture memories.
All of the following can be included in your cake smash shoot: Portraits before the cake using the studio’s line of boutique outfits, family and sibling photos (using the studio wardrobe if desired), cake smash photos (I take care of the cake, you just show up!), siblings joining in on the fun of the cake smashing, bubble bath at the end!
Cake smashes are simply styled on a white set with bunting banner or white balloons. This gives us a classic look that will not only keep the focus of the photos on your baby and not distract them from the task at hand (smashing cake!!!), but will also look good on your walls for years to come. *I do not offer styled cake smash sets with themes and props*

I provide specific recommendations on what kind of cake to purchase. And for the busy family that may not have the time to order the cake, I can coordinate with my go-to baker directly.
Bubble Bath!
My favorite part of the whole shoot is always the bubble bath at the end. Using baby sensitive skin bubbles, we do an all white bubbly bath after the cake smash is over. For babies that loved their cake and got messy, this is the perfect way to clean them off. And for the babies that were not huge fans of their cake, this is a great way to bring back a smile to their faces!

Any older siblings of one year olds are welcome to join in on the fun after baby is done smashing! I love to get the older brother or sister(s) involved because it makes for such CUTE photos!
