I didn’t realize until having my own kids how fast the first year of a baby’s life goes by!! The saying that the days are long but the years are short is absolutely true. That is why I love doing first year sessions for clients! Turning 1 is such a sweet fun stage in a baby’s life. And at well over 100 newborns photographed a year, so many return to me for their one year milestone photo session!
Sofia’s family opted for a Simple Cake Smash, which is my personal favorite! Simple and elegant decorations so the focus could be on the sweet baby instead of the props! We start each session with portraits and then move on to the cake smash and optional family photos.
